The District offers a $50,000 life insurance policy for all employees who are employed at least 30 hours per week on a regular basis. There is no cost to the employee.

Benefit eligible employees receive a District paid $50,000 life Insurance Policy.
You can purchase up to an additional $100,000, in $10,000 increments at this time. You will be required to complete an “Evidence of Insurability”.
Included in the life insurance policy is Travel Assistance available 24 hours a day. This service connects you to resources when you’re traveling at least 100 miles from home or in a foreign country for up to 180 days.
