Thinking about resigning or retiring?

Sooner or later all employees will reach a time in their lives where they begin to consider options for retirement or decide to explore other career opportunities. For some employees, the decision to make this change is easy, for others, the decision can be very difficult. Regardless, there are steps to be taken in preparing for and entering into retirement or resigning from your position. The purpose of this information is to aide you with step-by-step instructions as you begin the retirement or resignation process.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below that are applicable to you:

  • Licensed Staff (SCEA, SCPA, SCAA, Licensed Non-Rep Exempt)
  • Non-Licensed Staff (Bus Drivers, Clerical, Custodial, Interpreters, Non-Rep Hourly & Exempt, Nutritional Services, Paraprofessionals, other non-licensed positions)

Resignation:

Retirement:
